The union was not born suddenly, as it is today, but it did not deviate from the general law of nature, where creation begins small and then grows and becomes bigger gradually, but it gradually evolved from an idea conceived by the minds of colleagues who preceded us, so an association was born, and a union fell in love and walked the path to what it is today, with determination, steadfastness and resolve.

As a result of the follow-up of an elite group of engineers in the north, an association of engineers was established under knowledge and experience No. 1635, based on Decree No. 6037 dated May 22, 1946.

Article 1 of the association's basic law stipulated "the diligent pursuit of positive references to establish an official union."

The law on practicing the engineering profession and the Engineers' Union was issued on 1/22/1951.

The first elections were held on 3/18/1951, and the head of the union, Ashraf Kabbara, was elected as the first head of the engineers' union.

The founding phase and administrative and internal organizations began, which helped establish the foundations of the union and extend its roots to sponsor all the engineers who joined it.
